Center for Design Innovation Hours of operation: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, with occasional events on evenings and weekends and behind-the-scenes stuff happening all the time. We welcome visitors. Directions: Winston Tower is the second-tallest building in downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina. You can see the high-rise building as you approach Winston-Salem from any direction. We are on North Main Street between 3rd and 4th Streets. In Winston Tower, look for the elevators that go to floor 21. Driving from points east such as Raleigh and Greensboro:
Parking: Limited free parking is available in the building's garage and additional spaces are easy to find on the street and in nearby decks. Access to the Winston Tower garage is at the back of the building, via Church Street. You can enter until 7:00pm and exit at any time. When you arrive inside the building, be sure to note what level you are on and look for the elevators that go to floor 21. View a map of nearby parking options. In transition: CDI's current address is an interim location in which we are conducting start-up operations while awaiting construction of the center's permanent facility. The new building will be located in downtown Winston-Salem's Piedmont Triad Research Park. CDI's permanent home is projected to become operational in 2013. |
